HOLG Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Family Fun Day

This year Holding On Letting Go celebrates 20 years of providing support to grieving children and their families across Kent and Medway. Families who have attended our bereavement support weekends over the years are being invited to join us for a celebratory Fun Day in Maidstone in September.

The Fun Day will be held at MidKent College, Maidstone Campus on Saturday 22nd September from 11am to 4pm.

There will be a variety of activities and entertainments, including bands, supercars, emergency vehicles, face painting, magician and inflatables which will be free of charge to families. There will be plenty of outlets selling food such as burgers, pizza, hog-roast and ice-cream but families are welcome to bring their own picnics. This is a free event purely for families who have attended one of our bereavement support weekends.

Caroline Ford (CEO) said: “This is a big event for our small team to organise and we are extremely grateful to MidKent College for allowing us to use their site and to all those who are generously supporting the day. We are looking forward to a fun and busy day celebrating the achievements of Holding On Letting Go over the past 20 years and giving families who met on one of our weekends the opportunity to reconnect.”

If you or your family have been supported by HOLG and you would like to attend, please email us at: info@holg.org.uk confirming how many tickets you would like and your current address as we will be posting out the tickets. This is a ticket only event, there will be no entry on the day without a ticket.
