Understanding bereavement – together

Bereavement often filters through into other aspects of life – and we work with the wider community to enable them to understand bereavement and know better how to support the children and families they work with and support.

We can offer training, help, advice and support to:

• Fostering agencies

• Hospices

• Schools

• Social Services

• GP Practices

• Police

Isle of Sheppey:

Over on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, we run a one-day programme on several dates throughout the year, to support bereaved families within this community.

We have all of the children and parents together and run similar activities to our two-day bereavement support weekends, including arts, crafts, talking, and making memory boxes.
